Is there a way to lock pictures or text messages without lockin the entire phone on a 6700

Lock or block? I assume 'lock' because you have it twice. And what is it you are trying to do. That will help us help you because right now my assumption is you wanna keep or save certain things and hard reset and still want them to be there afterwards. But thats an assumption because IDK exactly what you are trying to do.

I think he means an application specific lock, for instance if someone gets your phone and they try to go through ur messages they cant get in, sort of like how regular phones have specific locks

Well there is an SMS app I know that will lock you out unless you give the right passwords. I assume MMS would be no different but if it were just regular pics he DL'ed or off a camera then he could use PocketRAR to password protect them. The SMS app I was referring ti I cant think of the name right now but if thats whats you are looking for just let me know and I will look for it.

Why do people always beat around the bush? The OP just wants to keep his wife / girlfriend from seeing the pix and texts that other women are sending him.
You can just delete the text messages and then keep an extra card to store the pix. There's even an app to encrypt the card so that she can't view it on a pc.
