I tried to download a gameboy advanced emulator off of the sunbug-net site. So my 1st question is, how can I download this to my ppc without a computer and or is there a program I can download that lets me be able to download the cab files. Because if I go to the site on my ppc it only shows the unreadable program code. Also any confirmed emulator that works on the ppc would be appreciated.

P.S freeware if possible lol

If you are referring to this:

then there is a cab and an install file in the download section. if you get the cab, then you need to drop it into your phone using active sync (or download it directly from the site onto your phone). If you get the install file you need to connect your phone using activesync and then run it like a regular install. it will then install to your phone.

Sorry I forgot to add, to download it directly to your phone, put this link into PIE

and then just click on the CAB file and save it to your memory card. Then run it and viola.

The promblem is i need to access the file using my ppc only with no access to outlook, active sync or any computer. So i need a way to download this only using my phone. When i access it from my phone it only shows what looks like lines of programing code. I tried on my work computer and i see it converted these lines to a downloadable format. So i need my ppc to read the file and give me simular options, so maybe some form of reader? or zipper or what ever i'm lost.

That is your cab file wait until it is done downloading on your pda in pie, go into your internet cache and locate the cab, move it to a location of your choosing and run it to install it.

Some websites aren't configured right and instead of offering the file to you through a download dialog, it opens it as text in PIE, it's the real file, you just have to find it now!

Heh I've seen that happen before (get a cab file as text) and didn't know the full file was saved in the cache. That's good to know, thanks.
