Is this what you are looking for? This is pretty old. Maybe there is another?
Thought I would try and help. Andrew, PS I use that SMS program on my 6700 and it to my knowledge doesn't send mulitple texts. What ROM are you using? Have you tried Big Jbabeys Mario ROM? Highly recommend that you try it. That link is here. |

I have had multiple texts sent from time to time as well. This even happened with stock roms. Also, sometimes I get errors saying that the message was not sent when it was and I send again anyway. I just chalk this up as Sprint Error.

I'll say that the multiple text is most likely Sprint. I have seen that error message though on Verizon, haven't for a while but it had given an error. Lol, maybe I sent it twice and never realized it. That would have been funny as much text messages as I had sent in the last year, no one told me about it if it was sent twice.

my local sprint store had to order another 6700 from a different region since mine failed the radio test, that could be part of it too.

Is the cause of multiple messages being sent the Palm messaging program? I'm using the Palm program and on Sprint's network. It only happens on occassion but it does annoy people? Am I going to have to revert back to the original messaging ways?

I don't think that it is the program. I have not had that problem. So unless it is a different version perhaps, I would try to see if a user on another network with the same device has this problem. I am not sure of the version my device has have to ask Jbabey what version is in his latest Mario ROM. Maybe you can update? More than likely it is not program-related.

It isn't the program, or any program for that matter. Verizon and Sprint phones do this from time to time and it drives users crazy. But it is not app related, at least it never has been in my experience. Just service related.
