brick

my 6700 is not working....vzw has no idea why
was recharging it one night and the next morning it was a brick
nothing works
when i plug it into the computer it is not recognized
can't reset

running aku 3.3
with a few registry tweaks (nothing tweaked in several weeks)


i'm at a loss
any ideas?

I once had the same EXACT problem. I even called to get a replacment. After a week of sitting in my desk it powered up again. Don't kknow if maybe something got overheated or what. Never had this happen again though.

unfortunately i can't get a replacement

and i'm waiting for the diamond to come out
(should be better than either the 6800 or 6900?)

so i was hoping that i can get this thing running again while vzw fiddles around with release dates

Have you tried pulling the battery and let it sit for a few minutes? Sometimes that seems to solve many weird problems.

Why can't you get a replacment? I get em all the time. Try to reflash to a Kirvin build. That is the only WM5 ROM worth using, if that. Also, it will be awhile before Verizon releases a new phone. They're always late, look at how long it took to get a razr. By the time they get phones, they're obsulete.

Methinks it would be difficult to flash the ROM if the device isn't powering up.

Ahhh, what a shame. I have two great phones here. One has tiny nick on screen and other has some non working keyboard buttons on physical keyboard for you. I can make one good one out of it for you. Just the shell, no extras. How much will you offer?
