I also use Opera Mobile (from a memory card), and it's great. I haven't had lock-ups with the latest unified rom, the only thing that will happen is when coming out of sleep mode the program will just close itself.

Opera Mobile is definentaly the way to go. Its got the best rendering engine for PPCs with 320x240 resolution screens.

Okay, so I'm gonna sound stupid here, but the only thing I understood out of all of these posts was 'Opera Mobile is pretty good." I've had my PPC for about a year now, but I've really only broswed the web and put movies/music on it. I don't really know much about Java and stuff like that. I guess I better start reading up, eh?

I would only switch to another browser if you are having any trouble with PIE. Don't fix it if it ain't broke kinda thing imo. Opera Mobile was the only one of four different browsers I tried that would do the work sites I needed to have the 6700 be worthwhile. Otherwise, I'm not sure I would have tried any other browsers. I don't do much but read a few forums as far as web browsing goes.

It's just about what you need to do really.

Picsel is a pretty cool browser that works well with sites that are not PPC-friendly. It's sometimes pretty slow, but a cool concept.
