pleaes help with weird sms messages

i have a ppc 6700 and the other day i sent a message to my girlfriend and my phone sent an email (from december) from my hotmail account to her phone along with the text message i sent. also happened when i sent my co-worker a message. i did a soft reset and it seemed ok until yesterday when sent a message and it sent a picture to her phone and i didnt send the picture. it seems like it just sends random messages from my hotmail account sometimes when i send a text message. does any one else have this problem or a possible solution?

What rom are you using?

im using the 2.06.00 wwe rom

when i go to start, messaging and then do a drop down to show what form of messaging i want to use my choices are hotmail, mms, outlook, sprint and text. i was thinking bout deleting hotmail from those choices. does anyone know how to do that.

Wow sending random emails and pictures to the GF can be dangerous!!

Hi, I am courtney, wideawakes fiance, and yeah I've seen this too. It's no BIG DEAL. Just something that needs to be addressed. So, I'd advise you to go to the chatroom at the top of the page, using that icon, and ask someone there. They don't seem to be answering here.

I had the same thing happen a few times on the standard Verizon 2.2 ROM, and I use my e-mail on the phone for work, so I was not very pleased when more than one friend told me they received a string of like 15-30 text messages containing the contents of a work e-mail of mine! My phone showed NO record of the messages going out.

Someone on else on the Phonescoop forums is complaining of the same thing, so it is apparently more than an occasional bug - makes me wonder how many other people's 6700's out there are TXT'ing out people's e-mail without their knowledge...

However, since I upgraded to one of the 3.5 ROMs I have not had any of my friends report of numerous texts containing the contents of any of my e-mails...
