However, if you tap and hold in the wethaer area from the today screen - popup menu - select additional views - there you'll find all sorts of animated maps to choose from. not just radar, but forcast maps for pecip, temp, wind... There is a lot to this little freeware ap. You can even do a very nice detailed forcast on the today screen, I personaly prefer the compact view.

Yep, always liked the today screen radar in WeatherPanel. Didn't know any other app had that in it. Pictures?

The battery will drain faster during each connection instance that occurs, but how much faster is anyone's guess.

It also remains true that you shouldn't steal from anyone, because they might just be a Raging Idiot with a gun.

or flip 'em the bird when they cut you off in traffic...

While you can access the maps from the today screen, they are in the viewer, not on the today screen.

ADBWeatherPlus problem.

I downloaded the cab (thank you very much) and there is a proplem getting weather data for *some* states. Seems to be western US only. I have emailed happyjack and am waiting for a reply.

The program seems to be much better than I expected.

SPB weather here as well. I had a lot of freezing issues with it, until I loaded it onto my phone. As soon as it was removed from the storage card, it's been working 100% no freeze-ups. The only issue is that the auto-update only works 50% of the time. But I have no problems hitting the manual refresh.

nuguy~ every single time I've seen your siggy, I've laughed for a second. That commercial was indeed funny. My husband and I both have ppc6700's and they are double insured. So we'd throw em (okay now that the whole 6800/no6700 thing is an issue, not so much....)

But it's hella funny still... man I'm chuckling just typing this.

Well it's not an isolted thing anyway. I got an error about could not find 'moved' and a table size, that's no good...

Well what the hey it's Seattle, lemme guess, it's raining. Right?

Just jokin' I'm sure you wanna know when it's raining less, or more as the case may be!

Have you tried any of the nearby towns?

Are you sure Seattle didn't move?

Thanks for the effort. I spent a couple of hours tracking the problem down before I posted and found that it appears to be a west coats problem. I tried 6 or so cities in Washington with the same results that you got.

In one instance, my internet connection timed out during an attempt and I got a different error. The error message reported the URL it was trying to open along with the parameters that it was passing. I copied that down and opened it directly from my desktop computer. It opened a NOAA weather page for the city (Monroe WA as I recall) and it was working fine.

My guess is that something on that server has changed and the way Happyjack extracts the information from that page is no longer valid.

Many states in the East work, and I even got good results from Kansas. LA did not work as I recall and neither did Montana.

I will try another email to Happyjack. I am afraid that if I do not get this working I may miss the only sunny day this summer
