I agree, that this is a good case. I dropped it coming from out of my car, and really tripped out because the case looks like the phone, but of course it wasn't. Oh and if you keep ur anti lock on, which I do, and strongly recommend, you'll get fooled by the clear screen...damn screen I keep hittin' it because I forget my phone is in the damn case...IDIOT ..>GOSH

You can drop kick the sucker in that case w/o damage* Well, at least you can drop it 3' onto cement without a problem. You do need to be optimized for stylus-free use or you'll get tired of popping the case open all the time.

* you can't drop kick the sucker in this case, and if you do, you can't sue me when it breaks

i got the same case in black.. lots of people frown on that case because when you drop the ppc the case ejects the ppc out. i can say it happened to me and it did eject out. but i still love it cause i throw the ppc in my pocket with my keys..

The wife and I have the metal cases like the ones in the pics above, and yes the metal clip really stinks. We solved that problem by using nylon gps belt holsters with the phones in their metal cases. Works like a charm. Have been carrying them this way for about a year now without any new scratches or dings.

Im using an old case that I got with a Handspring Visor. It lets me use my extended battery, clips around my belt so no chance of it falling off and has a velcro clasp that is silent. Only problem is that it is really old and starting to fall apart and I haven't been able to find a replacement for it. It is simple yet very effective.

I got mine at a truck-stop in georgia it's the leanest leather on I've seen anywhere. It cost me 10 bucks and I spent an extra 6 when I got home at a shoe repair place to open up th top a little more for the antenae, and to move the velcro up so when the flap is closed you don't see it. It worked fine, but I wanted a little extra room there. I really love it. There's a really strong, yet thin plastic belt clip and a nice big velcro flap. I know when it's in there, it's not going anywhere. My slim battery fits great, and with elastic sides the extended battery squeeks in.

Not to dig up a really old thread, but have you guys thought about this case along with a "cliphanger" add on instead of the flimsy swivel clip?

for those who dont know, www.cliphanger.com is the place to get them, they are the nutz, my mom gave me one for christmas, and its still on my phone. I didnt adhere it perfectly, and its still holding up after 6 months.

Just something to consider...

Eric
