Backup Speed Dial entries

Is there a way to backup your speed dial settings?
I have 2 set to home, 3 set to wife's cell, 4 set to son's cell, etc.
When I do a ROM update I have to manually enter these.
Just wondering if there are some registry settings somewhere I can backup and restore (or make a .cab and place in extended_rom) so I don't have to manually enter these everytime.

Thanks.

Use ppcpimbackup.exe which you can find on the ftp server at this link.
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/Colonel%27s%20Custom/

It allows you to backup contacts, appts, call history, speed dial, text and email messages. Nice and handy.

I've found this works well, I use it to backup my text messages and call history between flashes. I haven't used it for speed dials (I use MSVC or the treo picture speed dial instead), but it looks like it should back up what you want.

doh, too late

Thanks. Will give this one a try. I don't have my bluetooth headset yet so using MSVC for speed dial doesn't work well yet (too much background noise using vc with the mic on the 6700.

The app on the ftp server and the one on the buzzdev link above is one and the same. If you havent registered with buzzdev website, it might not allow you to get to the download section.

Will it (or anything else) backup email settings?
I don't care about the messages, as they are mostly synced from Outlook or Gmail, but I would like to skip having to reset all five email accounts again. (after my impending ROM reflash)
