How to change Contacts prog for New SMS;New Email

Where is the registry setting or where do I need to put in some value so that I can get PocketCM Contacts to show up for when trying to select new recipient for new SMS?

Same thing happens when I add new Speed Call; Add recipient pulls up Old Contacts (Windows Mobile 6.1) manager.

In PocketCM go to Filter -> Options and look for a box called "Use old app for saending SMS"

I think that is what you want

I have it set right for using the old sms app inside PocketCM.
The problem is when I use the old sms or email app that I will not pull up the PocketCM Contacts program for when I click on the right button menu and choose Add Recipient. It pulls up the old window mobile crappy contact program.

I have looked and looked at the registry files and can not find a place that says where it is looking for the contacts (besides the standard one that is :MSCONTATCS and value1 = PocketCM.exe

Ah. I got you. I know what you are talking about now. But I dont do mine that way. When you open a new SMS if you start typing a name it will filter them as you go and then you can select them. Thats how I do mine. I understand what you want but IDK how to get it to do that of if it can be done. I think that would be something in the SMS app itself. And just so you know, I use the Palm Threaded app

I am using the stock WM6.1 threaded sms.
And I too think its something built into the sms app. Kind of sucks that its not a registry setting of some sort (or if it is, then is buried really deep)

No, no one can help unless you can recode and debug the SMS application. And it isnt a problem, it is a annoyance at best because it doesnt perform how you want or expect it to.
