Although not concerning us, from my investigation card speed is only a concern when running DS roms backups in a DS, and usually Japan made cards are the best/fastest regardless of stated speed on packaging.

For our units I havent seen a difference unless you swap out your card and put it in a reader. My card was surprisinly fast thru the card reader.

Here is a tweak, taken from Tweaks2K2.net, to speed up SD/MMC card transfer speed that will work for Smartphone and Pocket PC.

Look for these two keys:

HKLM\\drivers\\sdcard\\clientdrivers\\mmc_class &
HKLM\\drivers\\sdcard\\clientdrivers\\SDMemory_cla ss

Change value of BlockTransferSize from 64 to 128 or 256.
I couldn't see that these changes to the block size made a difference in read/write speeds. I used the speed test in SKTools. Does it work for anyone else?
