WM 6.1 Vibrate Settings

Hello everyone, I have searched and searched with no results looking to see if anyone knows if there is a way to edit the way the way the vibrator works in Windows mobile 6.1. When I receive a text message I like to have the phone vibrate only. With WM 5 there was a long continuous vibration that lasted for about 6 seconds. In windows mobile 6 there are 3 short 1 second pulses when you select "vibrate" under the sounds and notifications for "new text message" This is not enough and I don't feel it when my phone is in my pocket. Does any one have any idea where the script is in the registry to edit the way the vibrator works for different things? I have looked on forums and looked through the registry with no luck, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
