you know the biggest pet peeve I have is how hard it is to just change the ringer to ring/vibrate/silent/auto etc. gotta slide alllll the way over, open settings, select, close. ugh.
If you mean the slide action to pick a tab in manila, that's no prob , just install the manilla 2D customizer to arrange bottom tabs.

thanks Max I am about to.

there are just so many little things though - like only displaying ONE appointment on home? come on. and if you have a birthday for instance, it takes precedence so none of your daily appointments show under it. lame. have you figured that out? sadly it looks like this is on the 'to do' list for the customizer

also the people tab. you set it for someone and pick home, cell, etc etc. but when you click the icon it brings up a contacts page asking which (home, cell, etc etc) you want? thing is that was already selected and now you have the contacts open and have to manually close it. looks like the hook is going to the wrong thing. figured that out?

just a couple examples

unless you have figured out how to make the volume slider set ring to 'automatic' you better take that back lol

I suggest just start with kitchen oem AND fix OEM here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...327#post438327

If you try adding the cab fix after it seems to soak up more memory...

from there you hav a good working base to add (EDIT: OTHER) cabs to , until we have newer OEMs for them..

EDIT: although Kitchen OEM works easiest, it loads album and audio mngr which are older...

Album works but audiomngr & google maps need reinstalling with cabs for now

Okay when I cook up a ROM in the Kitchen with the Manilla 2d checked and the OEM Fix checked, I get a bunch of overwrite errors as the ROM is compiling. Whether I overwrite or not, when the rom is done flashing, the apache starts up with a blank today screen. What are you guys selecting in the kitchen to make this work? I also selected google maps, opera, and flashlite, as I understand that they are needed for manilla.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: 2D manilla on apache?

overwrite. that is the kitchen building the manila2D over the existing files. the blank screen is normal, it takes some time for the touchFLO to activate over the blank screen. make sure its enabled and you arent loading and/or baking ANY other homescreen plugins that will conflict with it.

If you click the picture it will take you to the contact information, but in order to one-click dial the assigned number (home, cell, work, etc), you have to press the phone/message icon under the picture. It took me a while to figure this out to, and it is pretty hard on the smaller resolutions screens with big fingers.

That's just my experience with it anyway.
