Unhappy Cracked screen

Hey there. I have an Apache with a cracked screen. I am looking around for a replacement, but I'm unsure as to how to get the existing one out. Can anyone help, or advise me where to go to find a repair manual or similar?
Many thanks

Re: Cracked screen

This is a good disassemble procedure:

There are several posters that have done the screen replacement; you might search the forum and PM them for advise. The biggest warning is not to break the volume control button.

Here's a link if you don't want to do it yourself. Might be pricey from NZ, though...

Re: Cracked screen

Well I've took apart two of my older 6700's today and made on good one. It's not to hard to replace anything on this phone. The hardest part is putting that ribbon back on the main board.
