How to Add ICS on a 6700 with WM 5.0Help?

Okay, I have been looking all over on how to actually add ICS to my 6700. I want to add WMwifirouter and of course I need ICS to do this. Best that I can tell, I do not have this on my phone. I have searched all day long for this and everything I find turns out to be a dead end. I plan on buying the commercial version of wmwifirouter and have installed the trial ver to test. According to the support site for WMWifirouter I should have \Windows\IntShrui.exe, \Windows\IntShare.dll, and \Windows\IPNat.dll on my phone. I could not find any of these files.

I cannot imagine this would be that hard to find. There has to be many before me that have already gone through this.

Thanks for any help

Well, I haven't played with tethering/making the phone a router too much since I don't have a data plan. But with WM5, I believe you use wmodem. IDK if the files you are looking for are included there. ICS is a feature of WM6/6.1 so if you need files specifically for WMwifirouter, you would have to do a ROM upgrade through the kitchen.

When I tether via USB I have always used Wmodem, but it seems I need ICS to use WMWifirouter. The docs say it works on WM5.0 so if ICS is a feature of WM6.0, that would not make much sense.

Well, I have these files on my 6700 running WM6. Try looking at this thread. It's pretty long...

Yeah I saw this thread before I posted. It really does not seem to address not having ICS to start with.

Did you see post #668? Try installing the .cab. What version of WM5 are you running? I've been reading and it was only available on AKU 3.3/3.5.

I would just suggest using Wm6/6.1 It gets to messy when you try to use things that WM5 wasen't made for...

Where can I get WM6.0 from? Also, should installing it cause any issues with all the sprint stuff that makes the PDA operate?
