Volume complaints

I was just wondering why people complaign about the volume on the 6700. mine was sitting in my room, and i was on the other side of my house eating dinner and i heard it ringing and its just one of the default ringers on the phone. When i listen to MP3s with the speaker phone, i rarely use full volume or else i can hear it on the other side of my house. Did i just get lucky and get an awesome 6700 with no problems? I mean its no where near as loud as the speaker on my previos sanyo phones, but its still loud

hmm... have you ever heard to the speakerphone on the sanyo 9000?? i am taking one apart to see if its the same diameter as the one in the 6700, if it is i will change it and maybe order a few extras to do some work on friends

I was wondering the same thing, I have no complaints of volume of the ringer, or my speakerphone, which I rarely use.

the speaker looks bigger than the 6700. if it works, please show and tell! but you have to remember, that it is a professional phone. thats probably why the speaker isnt as loud as others previous phones

The speaker loudness on the 6700 is adquate but not as loud as compared to other regular phones. I wish the 6700 has the speakers like the Cingular 8125. This is another ppc also manufactured by HTC.

you can make custom ringtones and bump up the amplitude to make the thing ring louder, but on mine anyway, the speakerphone audio is LOWwwwwwwwwww......
