I think you might be in the wrong forum This is the Apache. No unlocking is needed. Are you talking about when you go to load on phone or when you hit the green play button? I have a video on how to flash an Apache. The link is in my signature. Check it out.

Okay, it's not loading. Cooking is making the rom. What bootloader do you have? v2.05? I would suggest doing a super striped down ROM.

The reason it's probably not working is because you don't have the right REV version did you check my video like I said? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VLBRBT3f9Y It's not confusing really, if people would take a few mins to read instead of just pluging in the phone and then running it and getting error then it would all go smoothly.

Re: Upgrade 5.0 To 6.1

PDAPhoneJunkie is right. You have to know which bootloader you have on your phone. Different bootloaders will allow different rom sizes. Also, 6.1 is extremely large and you will not have a lot of extra space for extra programs. Find out your bootloader version and keep reducing you options until you rom size is small enough. It is a lot of trial and error.

Re: Upgrade 5.0 To 6.1

When I used to get memory errors while cooking, it wasnt because of lack of mem on the phone due to which BL I had, it was lack of HDD space available to cook. You wont get a mem error while the phone is flashing from a cooked ROM. If it is too big it will just sit at the splash screen and go no further.

Re: Upgrade 5.0 To 6.1

Yep. V2.05 I think has the smallest. But it really isn't a problem for me because I don't put a whole lot of of stuff in my ROM. I do a fairly clean one.
