Dont kill me if its right there and i cant see it!

i was browsing through the site trying to learn some stuff about this phone. then i stumbled upon the mario rom, and i liked wat it offered, so i was going to try to install it. ive been searching off and on for about 5 hours now...i honestly cant find a thing that gives step by step instructions for installing such things. im getting bits and pieces. im not new to phones but totally ignorant when it comes to hacking a ppc. so if anyone could tell me how or post a link to the page ive been looking for...i would love you forever! lol thanks in advance. and once again..please dont kill me if its right there and i cant see it!

First put phone in bootloader (cassette button, power button, soft reset)...screen will go black but say serial if you look really good...

Plug into your PC (not in cradle)...serial should switch to USB on your device screen...

Run the proper file for the Mario ROM (don't know exactly which one it is as i haven't used it)...follow the instructions on the install/update...EXCEPT for when it gets to the end, most likely it'll say to HARD reset but give instructions for a SOFT reset...definitely HARD reset (both soft keys and then stylus soft reset)...

You can let you service provider customizations run if you like, most don't. If you don't want to when it say's "customizations will run in **", do a stylus soft reset...(if you don't run customizations you will have to setup your own internet connection, picture mail, etc...)

Have fun...
