xv6700 DOA
I don't know if it is selfinduced, bad timing, or something else but my xv6700 after laying about all afternoon showed up dead. When I plugged it in to the activesync port, the led 2 turned red. I tried a soft reset with no success then tried a HARD RESET still with no success. All I had was the red led.
After sitting on the charger base for an hour or so, even the red led was gone. Verizon is shipping me a replacement (in 3 freaking days by the way) but... Any hints? One possible is a bad battery. Since I don't have a new battery for it, and apparently the new 6700 isn't coming with one, will I have the same problem but with a different device? Thanks for any help. -John
