Storage card to Storage card 2

Every once in a while i get two folders, one SD and one SD2. Because of the renaming of SD2 my apps and games become unaccessible. So i have to delete Storage Card 2 folder, do a soft reboot and everything goes back to normal. Can any one tell me why its doing that? and what can i do to stop it in the future?

I had this problem for a while also. Mine was because I had attachments being stored on the storage card. I stopped that and it has been fine every since. But basically if you have some program writing to the storage card on bootup it causes this. Not sure if anyone has found a real solution but I just stopped what was writing to the card.

If you have unlocked your extended_rom, *and/or* you have email attachments on the storage card or you have today items installed on your card, you can get this behavior after a soft-reset. I run with an unlocked/unhidden extended_rom, and I have my email attachments on that - pull your card, and then enable store attachments on card, then insert your card... seems to help. That, and keeping everything on the today screen in internal memory or the os rom image (if you build your own rom) will clear it up.

It is personal preference really. I am sure that you will be happy with any of the roms. Just find one that best matches what you want built into the phone and use that. I personally prefer the ppcgeeks roms because it is clean with nothing added to it. I then build the rom into my personal specifications using only the programs and tweaks that I like on my phone. So that when I flash or hard reset my phone it is setup exactly the way I like it.
