XV6700 keeps feezing after 30 seconds on reset

Okay here is what happened. I was at my friends house and needed to charge my phone. I attached it to his PS3 (same dongle) to charge and then that is when the problems started happening.

After every reset, after about 30 seconds, the screen will freeze up, none of the buttons will work (even the power to turn the screen off).

HOWEVER, it still will charge (yellow light comes on) and the green light still blinks. I

I have tried reverting back to stock ROM to no success and tried downgrading the Radio to 1.41.

Any ideas? I tried hard reseting maybe about 10 times already and soft resetting at least 20.

I'd go after power related things b4 software. Like taking out the battery/put back in, new battery, etc. I don't think it will run without battery on AC. Then if that didn't work, circuit must be fried and claim insurance.

Re: XV6700 keeps feezing after 30 seconds on reset

Nah its not the battery and if you pull the battery while connected to an AC source, the phone stays on.

I fixed the problem....well not really

I had an old xv6700 with a broken screen lying around so I gutted it and gutted the one with the fried board (well that is what I am assuming). I then swapped the internals (sooooo easy) and it starts up now all nice!

Only thing is that I had to re-activate because its a different phone technically.

Re: XV6700 keeps feezing after 30 seconds on reset

I plug mine into my buddy's PS3 all the time without problems. Doubtful that caused it. The PS3 sees it as an unknown device, so it won't even interact with it.
