its sprint, no custom ROM.
Today plugins. SBP weather phoneAlarm Resco Today plug in. I do have a SD card, its 2GB card. and most of my stuff are installed on it. even today plugins. I have also moved some of the .dll's to SD card to free up memory, and i believe that it started going that after the move. |

It is possible that the phone is not turning off, but the backlight is. If this is the case, you can press and HOLD the power button to reactivate the backlight, or tap the screen (you may accidentaly tap something you didn't intend to, though)

after an 1hr of inactivity, or me not using the phone, the back light is off. and holding the power doesn't help, nether taping on the screen.
I was thinking about putting a custom rom on my phone. I just wasn't sure of it, and how well it will work. Is this the rom that your talking about? http://www.ppcgeeks.com/saridnours-a...ght,helmi.html |

It's definitely all the stuff installed on your storage card. Never install today plug-ins or anything that runs on the today screen on your storage card, only in main memory. When your phone goes to sleep, it shuts off the memory card interface. When it tries to wake back up the card takes a moment to reinitialize but by then the system is looking for things to put on your today screen that isn't available because it "looks" like you have no storage card installed. A good way to test if this is true is to pop the storage card when it gets stuck like that, and it might come out of sleep that way. I would reset everything and try and install today screen stuff (and some synching things) on the main memory. Leave the memory card for games and other programs that don't run at startup.
