Testing ROMs with Microsoft Device Emulator

Is it possible to use the MDE 1.0 or 2.0 to test the ROMs instead of flashing them onto our actual devices?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and came up with 2137 posts that had nothing to do with the MDE.

There have been so many times I flash my device to only have it hang at the logo screen. It would be really nice to not have to take my device out of order to test the ROMs.

If anyone has used this, could you let me know what you think about it as next week when I have some time, I would like to start to customize my ROM on my XV6700.

No, the ROMs here are intimately customized to run on the Apache hardware platform. I don't believe there is any way to adapt them for the emulator.
