NO, the FTP was recently redesigned, I bet the post hasn't been updated to reflect the new folder structure. Get rid of the subfolders in the URL and navigate manually.

Just wanted to say that I loaded this in the AM and it is working great. The Internet Sharing over BT is worth it for me alone.

Thanks for your hard work!!!

I fixed the initial posts ftp links, they should now all be valid once again

FastRX8: I think I see the MMS issue. If you can test something for me, I can see if I can roll the changes back into a PR7. Download and install PR4 and then use kirvin's rom mms fix and see if it then works. I made some reg changes to the arcsoft reg that may be what is causing it to no longer work in pr6. If you can validate that it does work, I can pick out the reg differences and migrate them to a test rom (want to make sure that this is the root cause before I pick through the reg) and you can test a pre-pr7 with the files added and kirvin's rom fix in place. I do not use MMS and am not on VZW so I have to get someone else to test this feature.

rhman: Glad to hear that you like the ROM

I have tried almost all the ROM's and yours is by far the best and only one which seems to work without lock ups. Thank you !

exspand: Yes, I agree. I've been using this rom for several months, and I've found it to be very stable. With any device of this complexity, you're going to get a lockup now and again, but that's really been quite rare. And some of these lockups are not the fault of the rom. I use the 6700 a lot for playing music and needed a player that would play protected WMA files. Used Conduit's PocketPlayer for quite a while, but kept getting lockups. I changed to PocketMusic by PocketMind and now I'm getting none of those lockups anymore.

Sorry in advance for being such a n00b but I require clarification on the steps described below:

*NOTE1: Voice command had the EXE removed as this is commercial software. All you need to do is copy your EXE in to the windows dir, create a shortcut to the startup folder and map your button to the exe (recomend using button #5.

Thanks for patience and rely and all the hard work!

Excheese: First, you have to buy Voice Command 1.6. Some folks have thought they could use the trial or something. From a previous install, you might find the VC exe file on your PC under C:/Program Files/Microsoft Voice Commmand. If not, you can extract the exe using WinCE Cab Manager. You can get a trial version of that program at download.com. Then it's just a matter of dragging the exe from your PC to the Windows directory on the device (using ActiveSync). You'll need to go into system/buttons on the device and change button five to Voice Command. You'll probably need to do a soft reset. That should do it!

I see that the instructions you copied say "create a shortcut ..." I don't remember having to do that. You can accomplish that with Total Commander, if needed.
