Goodbye everyone

I called and filed a claim against my 6700 and they sent another 67. I was going to play the lemon game to get a 68 but they beat me to it and so here is the story.

My 6700 works great actually, aside from the occassional vibe not going off when I get a VM or TXT but that is common with the 67s.

So they sent me a new 67 and it is immaculate in every way. The stylus hole is tight as is the slide out KB. The KB buttons are good and the case is perfect. The 67oo got here Monday and today I am noticing I am missing calls and texts when I have it on vibe mode. So I check my settings in notifications and it is set to vibe. So next I send myself a text and when it comes in I bump on the 67 and sure enough it starts to vibe, just like my last one they sent and the one before that and the original one I got from VZW.

So I brought this to thier attn and they offered a Treo 700 or a 6800 and so I choose the 6800. I used to be but no longer am a fan of Treo.

So I (like others before and after me) am moving on. I have been wanting to change for a long time anyway. This will at least hold me over until I can get a Diamond Pro towards the end of the year.

The 68 is supposed to be here tomorrow so I give you guys an update then.

Re: Goodbye everyone

Thanks for all your help and advice over the 6700 years. You certainly helped me make my Apache hum. Maybe I'll see you again in Diamondland.
All the experts and wizards are leaving. Looks like the handwriting is on the wall.

LOL........poor Jabu. J/K. I wont be leaving the board and likely will be stopping by the 6700 quite regularly still. Im just letting everyone know which direction the wind is blowing my in. The 67 is a damn good solid and stable device. But for me, I get bored easily and need a change to keep my interest. I guess thats why I have so many different GFs.
