earpiece volume

is there a registry tweak or something to turn the volume up coming out of the earpiece. i can't hear crap if there is any background noise. everyone has to yell for me to hear them

there is nothing, it has always been bad and there has never been a fix for it. Some people take apart the case and fully open the slot for the earpiece on the top of the device to let more sound out.

anyone done this and can tell me if it is worth it or not. it sounds like a good idea
