can my memory card be salvaged?

PPC-6700 & Kingston 2GB card--everything had been relatively fine until today when all of a sudden everything slowed to a crawl. Removing the card restored performance. Soft-reset, put card back in--same problem.

Total Commander shows that the files on the card are still there, but PC hangs when I try to Explore the card. I use a Mac at home--same problem when trying to mount the card with Missing Sync.

I get an error message when I try to open any of the folders on the card with Total Commander: "Error 31 changing to dir!"

Is there any hope of salvage??

if you have a card reader, take the card and copy all the contents to your computer.. reformat the card and put everything back on..


btw what do you have on the card? also what ROM are you using?
