Question Average flashing time

I'm wondering what's the average flashing time for the rom, to cook into the phone mine's been sitting there for 40 minutes more or less and it wont go past the "Checking information pn your device..." screen... Should i be worried?

This is my first time flashing

Re: Average flashing time

I've only done one flash, but it only took about 15 mins or so, maybe a little more. 40 mins seems a bit excessive. Those that have done this a few more times may have a different take.

Re: Average flashing time

It may be the mobility center...

You may have to disable that in order to let the PC talk directly to the device. Go to the task manager and kill the process. Rinse ... Repeat...

The whole process should take less then 15 minutes.

Another thing maybe you have selected too many things when cooking up your ROM try a real basic ROM first. If it works you know you have too many things chosen and need to cut back. Plus you will then know how to do the flashing...
