Corrupt pim.vol file

I think I have a corrupt pim.vol file. Is there a way to read this file or import it into Outlook?

I performed a rom upgrade (3.5) and my ppc does not open contacts or calendar. I tried to restore the file on an emulator but it too acts the same way. I would really like to read this file and import it to Outook since the info is 1Month older.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This is normal when you do a rom upgrade. There is nothing you can do except reflash to the original rom or delete the file and then resync.

What you want to do is reflash back to the original rom. put pim.vol back on. sync to active sync or exchange server (mail2web.com is free). reflash to 3.x rom, then sync to activesync or exchange server. you can copy pim.vol from a 3.x rom to another, and 2.x to another, but not from 2.x to 3.x(different architecture).
