please help-ActiveSync Problem-RNDIS-disable advanced networ

I'm searched the forums and can't quite seems to find the answer.

How would you add the ability to go to 'SETTINGS \ CONNECTIONS \ USB TO PC' and then uncheck 'Enable advanced network functionality'?

I have Coronel's 3.5 loaded and I am given this option. When I uncheck it, I am able to Activesync (otherwise my Sygate agent prevents activesync).

My manager has a verizon with AKU 2.2 and does not have this option. I'd like to help him add it.

I've read in the forums about Verizonguy's serialtoggle.exe. Would this do the trick for him? Thanks in advance for your help.

With AKU 2.x, you install the USB ActiveSync switch app from UTStarCom, and then run it and select serial mode.
