shutting down your 6700

ok, i haven't had my 6700 very long but i was using the touch before. i use to shut down/turn off my phone at night so there was no alarms or reminders waking me up. i can't seem to truly shut down the 6700. it only goes into airplane mode when i hold down the power button. i know ive heard people talking about a shut down app that looks like your xp computer shutdown choices. what is the name of that program?

Re: shutting down your 6700

Here's the software but I don't think it does anymore than holding the power button down. That really doesn't turn off the phone radio; u have to physically turn it off. The closest thing to shutoff is turning off WIFI, phone (flight mode), and Bluetooth. The 6700 just doesn't power down. Just keep it in another room or cover it up with some towels!

...Or you could just not set any alarms or reminders to go off in the middle of the night...
