Need help transfering to 'new WM5' phone from Verizon

Assistance please, I want to transfer my current setup to my new phone. Old - Apache xv6700 apache w flashed to 6.0, ROM 3.50. 4/25/07 customized full of business "stuff". Slide2 charge issue. New phone from Verizon. WM5 ROM 3.14.30 06/21/07 ( Got it Tuesday) 10 days to return mine.

Issue, how to get stuff from old to new in less than a day. Situation, I have been trying to set up my cooked ROM for over 24 hours, I don't know enough of what to keep and what to leave to get it down to a size that will flash. No guys it is not easy. I have been reading and trying for hours. - Suggestions? Recommendations PLEASE

Re: Need help transfering to 'new WM5' phone from Verizon

Only thing I can think of is to use something like SPB Clone. If not that ten you need to use something like PIMBackup to save most of that data. There is not an app that ill transfer applictions and such. Clone doesnt transfer those things but makes an exact "clone" of everything and reloads it all on the new device. So my overall opinion is to save what you can with PIMBackup and flash your new phone back to WM6 and update your radio if you want and then load PIMBackup and restore all that info and then install your apps. I personally dont use the Kitchens so I cannot help you there on that one.

SPB Backup 2 should do it just fine. Install and make a backup, flash the new ROM and restore with ROM upgrade mode. It might take awhile, but it will work.
