Re: help ....how do i fix an update gone wrong
You and this poster could be twins. So your AS/WMDC connection is fine, too, but the PC won't recognize??? Strange...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33471 Can you flash back to original WM5 ROM? |

Re: help ....how do i fix an update gone wrong
Sorry, but I'm not quite sure where you are at. So the 6700 is acting normally and the upgrade did not take? You are still at WM5? Or everytime you reset all you get to is the black screen? The bootloader mode is when you press the power button, the record button and the reset button at the same time. (Screenshot )You will notice that the screen gets dark. If you take a small light or flashlight and look at the screen you will be able to see the word USB at the top of the screen. At the bottom of the screen you will see the version number. Example: 1.00, 2.02, 1.02, 2.04, 1.04, or 2.05. You will need to make a note of which version you have so that you can select it during the build process. To exit boot loader hit the reset button only.
You had to do this 'cuz this gets your phone ready to accept a ROM update via the kitchen. You have to give a better description of your problem or we can't help! |
