Update:
I can't delete from storage card, or format storage card via resco either. It is like my storage card is read only. suggestions???? |

Do you have a card reader on your PC? If so, try doing stuff there. Basically try to isolate the issue and find out if it is the card or the PPC. Also, when docked, can you send stuff to the SD from the PC?

Unfortunately, I don't have a card reader.
Looks like it is something on the PPC, though. I am able to copy from the pc to storage card via activesync. I was also able to delete everything off of my storage card via activesync. I still cannot add anything to storage from the ppc itself. I tried hardresetting, but it did not make a difference. Very strange. Any way of re-formatting from the pc without a card reader? Any other ideas? |

CORRECTION:
Activesync makes it look like it deletes the files during that session, but if you soft reset then they are back on the storage card meaning it is not really doing anything. |

Couldn't format or write using wmstorage5 either (program turns phone into reader).
Still not sure if it is the ppc or the card itself. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot without an sd reader? |

Well, I would really suggest that you bite the bullet and grab a card reader. You should be able to find one for $20 or less.
I saw that you mentioned resco. I assume that the results are the same with the stock file explorer and Total Commander, correct? Were you able to pull stuff off the card to the PC with activesync? |

1. Using file explorer, it will copy something to the sd card, but after a soft reset it disappears (i.e. it is not really "writing" it).
2. Yes, I was able to pull things off of the card onto the pc. |

This is so weird and frustrating. It is almost like the sd-mini card is set to "read only" or is write protected. Is that possible? If so, how would I change it back?
