Question Windows Media Player (and other video) plays Choppy.. Any thoughts??

Hello all. For starters, I am completely new to ROM cooking (which ROCKS as most of you all know!!) and I've successfully used BuildOS.msi to upgrade my HTC xv6700 to WM6.... however, I've noticed after the change my Windows Media Player (and any other 3rd party Media Player) plays videos very choppy now; there are frame skips and the sound is always ahead of the picture now. So I was wondering if it was a known issue at all or if I forgot to add anything to the ROM to make it play normally.... or anything else that may be the problem. I'm using Helmi_C's ROM downloaded from the PPCkitchen. Any suggestions? Okay, to follow-up 30minutes later..... I played a video on my device (saved there) instead of on the SD card and the video was fine. I do remember during the ROM production that it said it couldn't recognize an expansion slot (something to that effect), does this have anything to do with it? And if so, is there anything extra I need to to do with cooking the ROM to get it to recognize the expansion slot for the SD card? Any advice would be appreciated!
