damn, no response to this poor soul?
Ok, dude, you could do a search, but seeing how this whole place is predominantly sprint, i actually have understanding of where you coming from. Well, you can try verizon guys, or try big j's or saridnours. All the stuff here is development work. Nothing is "official" from manufacturing. I hope you understand that. This means, you got verizon to get your phone fixed, you better load 2.5 back on or they might not fix it. YOu can try them all out and see what fits you best. Your best bet is to do a lot of reading through the threads that are up already. See what fixes and what is not fixed. all the "issues" are not worked out, but there are people working on them or so you better hope, and not take for granted. good luck!

I'm using the Kirvin_AKU_3.5_stock. It is very similar to the nojunk version. It seems to be as stock as stock gets; which I like. I did not let the customizations run after the hard reset. I have tried a few different roms and kept coming back to the stock version.
I didn't have any issue with settings up wep on my wireless. As for the getting the Pocket PC Networking message. I have received it a few times, but not when activesyncing. I have just noticed it on the screen when I end a call. It didn't seem to bother me in functionality. If you notice when you are activesyncing, your device will get an ip from your pc even with usb. As for which rom is for you, you need to try them out for size. I tried the stock one and then tried several of the others that had a lot of programs preinstalled. It is nice to play with the programs that are preinstalled then you know what programs you would use. I enjoy customizing it myself, so I loaded some of the preinstalled ones and figured out what programs floated my boat and then reflashed with the stock and loaded only the programs that I wanted. |

I suggest the Kirvin (3.5) one. All I did was stop the customizations by soft resetting before the countdown hit, made a #777 dialup account, and loaded the MMS package from extended ROM. Now everything works great.

It fixed the few issues that existed in verizonguy's ROM. Been running it solid for a few weeks now. ¿GotJazz? |

Interesting. I have had a couple issues with verizonguys rom but it is awfully nice, and built for our phone. I'll take a look at kirvin's. It looked like he baked alot into that rom I didnt want tho.
