Backing up SMS from threading program...

I searched and couldn't find an answer...

Is there a way to backup my current SMS txts from the palm threading program before reflashing?

In the windows folder there is a file "PalMsgV001". You want to copy that file and save it on your memory card. You will need to do that before each flash if you want your text messages up to date.

what about a way to import messages from the default sms program to the palm one?

I have some txt messages I can't afford to loose

I had this same problem. I installed Flexmail, and those messages were safe in there, and the other ones were in Palm.

There's an easy way of doing it. Why dont you copy your sms onto zyb. I already have my contacts and calendar saved on zyb so i think its a reliable solution because i lost my phone once and got my contacts back from zyb. I think same is true for sms. See if it works!
