How do I turn off delivery confirmations

I keep getting text messages confirming that my text message was delivered. I turned off request delivery confirmation in the standard windows text message app and it still sends me the damn texts. I just switched to palmsms and I still get the same delivery confirmation. I also did the reg hack to turn off delivery acknowledgments and I don't believe I got the delivery confirmations before I did that.

I made the registry change with the new key "settings" and a new value SMSNoSentMsg with a value of 1; it didn't work. I'm not sure what value type it should be though, I made it a REG_SZ type, is that right? I can make it Reg_None, _Dword, _Binary, Multi_SZ, Expand_SZ, Full_Resource_Descriptor, Resource_List, Resource_Requirement_List, DWord_big_Endian, Link, Qword, MUI_SZ.

I tried doing the same thing but i still got it so i just learned to live with. not only that i knew something was wrong if i didnt get it so i just let it do its thing although WM 6.1 doesnt do it at so if you really want to get rid of it Cook a WM 6.1 ROM

Or get one of the tweaking programs like PPC6700hacks[free- normally at Trianglepowers.com, but since it's not there right now, I'm attaching it. Oops, it is a zip file; unzip and install the cab file. Or go to the link.] or Tweaks2K2.net[not-free].

change “delivery ack” from 1 to 0

and done!

The delivery acknowledgement is already turned off, I get a text message reply confirming that my text message was delivered.

I tried the PPC6700 hack and re-named it to .cab and moved it to my device, however when I execute it the screens flashes for a sec and then goes back to file explorer. I looked through my programs and there's no additional program. Am I missing something?

Weedahoe, Its not really that big of a deal its just an annoyance so if you have to go out that out of your way help, really don't worry about it.

Sorry. I changed the post. It is a zipped file. Unzip the file I uploaded and install the cab.

Ha, I figured it out. I created a reg value that was a _DWORD not Reg_SV. I changed it to REG_SV and it fixed it. Thanks for the help. EDIT: NVM that didn't fix it. Arghh wth is going on!?
