How to make .CAB files

Hey guys I have been trying to find the answer to this question for a while to no avail. Can any one give me a step by step process along with what programs are need to make .CAB files for myself. I would like to make .exe files into .CABs if that is even possible and I would also like to make a .CAB file that would do a few registry edits that I like. If anyone can offer any help I would greatly appreciate it.

There are a few different ways. The easiest is to use an app that's designed for the task.

WindowsCE Cab Manager is that app. It is not free, but there is a free trial version that is mostly functional:
