MMS messages wont play video - Page 3

i know there doesnt seem to be anything else to do. just trying to find what the enwest arcsoft MMS Composer is so maybe if i installed that...then it would work, or how i could install the MMS Composer that is installed when verizon installs after a hard reset. its the little things that get to me cause i was so clsoe to loving how i had it set up. maybe with WM6 it will work for me...wishful thinking

How bout flashing again and letting the Verizon customization run and see if their MMS will work...

i tried that....thought it would work b/c thats what works in 2.2, but same thing. i just thinkn something is messed up on my phone now. in 2.2 now, i can send video if i go to send flix message and then pic the video. if i go to a video and click send...there is now new flix message (MMS) option, only new pix message (MMS) which doesnt work. is there a chance something got earased or changed that isnt being fixed on the flashes. ive noticed a hard reset doesnt erase somethings b.c i do it and i still have some things like notes and stuff sometime...

I might have fixed the issue that friguy3 noticed with the arcsoft MMS that seemed to come up right after this flash.

I was digging around in the registry after installing "Signed_MMS3.0.6.22_Apache_VZW_26Sep05" and i found that all the entries for the "new" button point to a key called "mms1". but the real ones where at "mms". so i renamed "mms1" to "mms2" (as a backup) then renamed "mms" to "mms1"... hit the exit button on PHM reg edit, restarted... all of a sudden POOF you hit the new button and the menu comes up.

ok...major break through for me. i installed kervins nojunk. this has Arcsoft MMS 3.0.16.6 (a newer version than the other one). i had to install a new server which was creating problems, so i ran the vzMMS-registry.cab from BigJ's ROM which installed a server. i set up a connection (a new modem with my#@vzw3g.com passowrd vzw). i sent myself a pic from my wifes phone and got it. i can "make" a pix or a flix message now, it dials #777 but it wont "send it". the message changes to the name with a little clock next to it. making progress! ill try that registry edit...maybe that will change something. thanks for everyone helping. it may help too if i could get the arcsoft MMS composer kervin used in his ROM, let verizon install its stuff then go back and install that arcsoft MMS composser (3.0.16.6). anyone know how to get that??
