yes I have warranty....you suggesting send it back.
Its strange, I've hard reset this device multiple times before.... I was hoping someone had seen this problem before, but I cannot find it anywhere on the web. any other suggestions?!?!?!? |

have you tried re-installing vzw's factory rom to device. i encountered a problem similar to this one, a little while back, and after i installed the sprint's rom back on to my device it began work fine for me.

OK I found something.....I went to the XDADeveloperwiki website and found another way to hard reset. It follows:
Hold the comm manager buton and the voice command button at the same time. While holding these push the soft reset button. Keep your fingers on the Comm and voice Manager buton. After about five seconds a screen will appear asking you to press the green send button. (This instruction is for Wizard (Thanks to Wardy's post), wonder if this applies to Apache as well?) I didn't get the breen send button but I DID get the vzw boot screen which says at the top Boot options: Enable KITL --NO Clean Registry Hive -- NO FOrmat Storage -- NO I, however, cannot alter any of these responses. I'm frozen right now waiting on some direction ANyone seen this boot screen before??? |

SOLVED---cannot hard reset
Held the comm mgr and record buttons and hit soft reset as described.
Toggled the no for format storage to yes using the comm mgr button and surfed the menu with the record button. reset with the camera button. Info found at XDADeveloper WIKI website I don't know WHY the other two ways to hard reset didn't work, but now I know a way around it if that ever happens again. thx all Hope this helps someone else |
