Re: Repair Advice: Speaker, Mic, Vibrator

The square rubber piece goers as follows:

With the LCD facing down it goes at the bottom of the motherboard over the electronic component right at the bottom towards the left side. The component does in the square depression and the slit faces the bottom.

When you put the motherboard back in watch what you do with the volume control slider as it is really easy to break the switch it mates to.

Re: Repair Advice: Speaker, Mic, Vibrator

Thanks for the info on the black rubber and the mic.

Just found a white soft rubber square on my floor which is a gasket of some sort.

Assuming this came from my phone. Where does it belong?

Fixing is hard at first, but the feeling you get after doing so is good, you feel like your a king then realize you have to get your own beer. lol

Maybe that's why I have left over parts - got the beer before the repair. Doh!

It goes around the camera flash LED.
