Music issues with storage card

I am using the newest ROM cooked from the kitchen, I have the SDHC drivers, and the overclocking program-thing installed. When I play my music off the sotrage card (MP3's and WMA's synced from Windows Media Player, no DRM) it stutters pretty bad. It's not consistent, just comes and goes. I didn't find anything when I searched, but was wondering if anyone else had issues. Could it just need a defrag? What would I use to do that?

Re: Music issues with storage card

There are issues with WMP and playing music and getting stuttering. This is a known issue, Try another player like Core Player or TCPMP.

Re: Music issues with storage card

Thats strange because I have mine OCed to 624 and use BTAudio to stream mine and use Core Player and do not have the issue with skipping or lagging. You can try either one, turning off the OC or use another player. Your call but let us know which you do and which works for you.

Re: Music issues with storage card

What I've ended up doing is using the HTC Audio Manager that was installed with the custom ROM. It acutally works very well, no skipping, and didn't require me to download anything extra (though I still think I'm going to get TCPMP for vidoes - those things stutter as well).

Thank you for the help, that was driving me insane!!

Re: Music issues with storage card

The only vids i have stutter are wmv and that is mainly because of how they are encoded. AVIs and MPGs work fine for me.
