It's a little off opic here, but the 6700 defintely DOES have a true GPS chip in it. It was however disabled from HTC at carriers request. You can find all the info you ever/never wanted at pdaphone home / 6700 / aGPS data thread.
And before you tell me something about no it doesn't, or aGPS isn't a GPS chip, READ the thread. Especially the last page or two. This is something I would really love to get running on our devices, even aGPS would be fine for my needs. But it seems someone with more skills than I will be needed if this is ever to get off the ground.
