Ok... Never mind... I found it. I Had to unzip it into my documents to get the phone to "see it".

Added prl 20224 file to the op for those that want to do it manually.

3 Calls to Sprint and they continue to tell me my phone does not need the latest PRL's... Which I find odd... The CSR's claim that the PRL's are Region Specific, and for me version 20221 is Perfect For the Grand Junction CO. area...

So, I guess Im just waiting till I get the Update PRL notice on my phone, Because they will not give me my MSL...

God I love CSRs!

You could try calling the Advance Tech Support and tell them that you had problem with your phone and need to reprogram it. They will probably walk you throught the process and which they will tell you to enter some codes into your phone. I believe there are three sets of numbers and the one with six digits is your MSL code. Get a pen and paper ready for those numbers and remember don't call from your ppc. That's how I got mine. Gook luck.

is there a way to see what PRL you currently have?

ok found where to check the version of my PRL but when i did the update it still says 221. any ideas?
another bit of info. the file I downloaded had a prl0000 file in it with no extention. I added teh .prl extention and the system was then able to see the file but it did not update.

u sure it updated? did u do the *2 and get ur acount flagged or did u manually do it because if u done the *2 I personally couldn't ever update mine that way and eventually told them to unflag my account because I got tired of that please wait while we update ur phone bs cuz it never worked.

never worked for me either. on all the phones i owned. when the the 24 prl first came out, i did get that update prl message others also got.

did it manually. as per the instructions here.
