Voice Command Problem

I have Kirvin's 3.5 nojunk ROM and MSVC 1.6, which seems to work fine, except that it doesn't give me audible confirmations through the BT headset, a motorola HS850. Any ideas?

I checked the box allowing notifications to be sent via BT headset.

For example, I initiate VC and say "Call Home", and it goes to the contact. i then hear nothing, yet still have to say "yes" in order to complete the call. It does the same when dialing a number, ie "dial 555-555-5445".

TIA!

Brandon

Do you have the "Confirm when calling by name" box checked under the phone options in MSVC?

It sounds like the TTS engine registration is hosed.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling VC on your device.
