Just wanted to note that there is a misconception amoung many that a simpler rom would somehow work better.

This is simply not the case and I actually feel Kirvin's3.3 was better than his 3.5 simply because it was loaded with more goodies and actually 3points faster, which means you would not notice any speed difference on the TCPMP player.

So you Kitchen guys should not be afraid to load up that unused space in the rom!

Yeah, you guys don't want to see how much crap I crammed into the ROM I use on my own Apache...

Where do you draw your point system from?

Also anyone can make a clean and simple rom. It is PRETTY MUCH without certain oems added in.

add BigJ to the poll. That guy has done INCREDIBLE work.

Surprised at the poll result so far. but, i guess its understandable.
kirvin is a big appeal to everyone since its so clean and simple. a lot of people don't want the baggage that comes from other peoples roms.

Of course, it good and bad. If you get the ones with progs in them, the author has or is currently ironing out how the system operated with those programs, meaning less hassles for us. Bad if you don't use the program at all. lol.

Well not really because they're not taking up any space that you could use anyway. If you deleted the links to the programs you wouldn't see them, which effectively would be the same as them not being in the rom at all. I love flashing a new rom because it introduces me to software I (usually) haven't used before. If I don't like it at least I know its out there and that I don't like it. And if I do like it then even better! Thats just me, I prefer to have the rom jammed full of stuff.

I agree!!! JBabey's dish isn't in the poll since it is so fresh but IT IS THE BEST AKU 3.5 OUT AS OF MARCH 5!!!!!

GO BIGJ GO!

Couple of features:

install software to ext. rom.
No PIE side scrolling or PIE+ or opera.
Nice selection of themes and ringtones.
NO BUGS!! IT JUST WORKS.

and last but not least

Old DUN still works just as before. No need to mess with the new way.

Odd, so the old DUN is working on a 3.5 build? Does this include the BT DUN?

Considering jack_2231 asked whether or not BT tethering works or not, I doubt it.
