3.5 and Time Sync Problems

Has anyone else experienced a problem with the automated time sync. Periodically I will look at the phone's time and it will be incorrect. I will goto the phone settings under Time Syncronization, and verify that it is checked, whcih it is. I hit Update Now, and the time updates. I am using the PPC_35_Kitchen_Pr2. Just trying to see if anyone else is experiencing this, or if it is possibly something I have installed causing this problem.

I'll bet you have the box checked in activestink to sync the time with the computers time when syncing. It is on by default I believe.

I wish there was a box to sync the comp to the 6700 instead...

I don't think its Active Sync. I use Wireless Sync, so about the only time I use active sync is if I am installing something new, or using INternet Sharing.

I only used wireless sync for a short while, but I think it also has the same setting. Otherwise I'm not sure, mine syncs the network time no prob, since I diasbled the check in AS.

Is your time (when it's wrong) the same as your PCs? If so some prog that is syncing something is also syncing the time, if it is a different time, then I have no idea.

Sorry if it doesn't help...

The time really doesn't mimic anything. It is almost like the PPC frooze, it will just be off by 10 or 15 minutes. Its is obvious the PPC did not freeze, because everything else works. I am beginning to think it is something I installed that is causing the time not to update properly. I will try to remove some programs and see if it helps.

Is your timezone on the PPC set to the same one as the computer/s you are syncing to?

Here's is what i done to my ppc 6700 so far beside the AKU 3.5 upgrade:

1. Glyphache registry hack
2. disable animation registry hack
3. File System Cache Increase registry Hack
4.Page-Scrolling in PIE registry hack

I have PHM regedit installed and i am currently using active sync 4.5 with Microsoft outlook 2007. I tested MS Outlook 2003 and activesync 4.2, but have the same problem.
