installing software

Could someone shed some light on this for me, when you install programs like skype or wisbar etc... where should you install these apps to, storage card of phone memory?

As a rule of thumb, anything that is displayed on the Today screen should go on Main Memory.

Then it just really depends on the app, although most of the other ones should be able to be installed on the storage card.
