Re: Can I Have My Sprint Phone Set Up to Work on Another Carrier?
You cannot use the 67 on ATT it is a GSM network, the 67 is only CDMA. Now Verzion (CDMA) is ok, but I think it needs to fall within a certain ESN range.

Re: Can I Have My Sprint Phone Set Up to Work on Another Carrier?
I'm such a noob at this I'm all set to go find a new ESN......
I don't expect I can get up to speed to know about all of this, but I'd like to know more than the kid who's gone thru 4 weeks of training at the phone store to be able to tell him 'oh yes it can be done'. Is there a better approach to dealing with the local Verizon store? Does Verizon (or others) have service centers in the bigger markets (I'm in Houston) that are sharp enough to know what to do? Thanks guys, Joe |

Re: Can I Have My Sprint Phone Set Up to Work on Another Carrier?
Verizon WILL take a Sprint ESN, you don't need to change it. You could also use it on Alltel, although Verizon just bought them so it's not like it's a big difference. You cannot use it on a GSM network, such as AT&T or T Mobile. Just flash your phone with the stock Verizon ROM and call them up to activate it.

i see you haven't bailed on Sprint yet....have you made changes to your phone that makes it ok enough to stay with Sprint? my main issues with them is the poor picturemail feature and the lack of decent IM messaging. |
